The #2 Sparkproof brass latch is our most spark-resistant model family of Brixon latches. These are used in highly volaitile situations that require hardware rated to reduce chances of a spark. SP2A latches are comonly used on regularly accessed doors or panels, due to their reasonably low release force setpoint range of 10 - 45 lbs (4.5 - 20.4 kg).
