The #2 Sparkproof Aluminum latch is our lightest sparkproof model of Brixon latches. These are used in highly volitile situations that require light weight hardware that is FM approved to limit sparking. SP2A latches are comonly utilised on regularly accessed doors or panels, due to their light weight, corrosion reistance and reasonably low release force setpoint range of 10 - 45 lbs (4.5 - 20.4 kg).
